Hey guys, today I want to share some movies about personal development and the law of attraction that I found powerful. I have chosen seven of these that I have watched recently. All of them touched me pretty deeply and helped me with my own personal development as well as helping me understand the law of attraction. I want to go over some details about what I got out of each movie. Some of the descriptions may not be 100% accurate to what the movie was trying to convey but it is what stood out to me and I hope that my interpretations can help you out however possible!
Seven great movies about personal development and the law of attraction.
1. The Secret
A lot of you have probably already heard of this one if you’re into the law of attraction at all. “The Secret” is both a movie and a book, both by Rhonda Byrne. Rhonda’s goal is to spread the knowledge of the secret, or the law of attraction, to as many people around the world as possible. To teach everyone how to use the law of attraction to live amazing lives.
Rhonda Byrne’s discovery of The Secret began with a glimpse of the truth of life within a 100-year old book. She went back through the centuries, tracing and uncovering The Secret that lay at the core of the most powerful philosophies, teachings and religions in the world.
What Rhonda discovered is now captured in The Secret, a film that has changed millions of people’s lives across the planet. No matter who you are, no matter where you are, you can change your life.
A quote taken from the website for “The Secret” on this page: The Secret Film.
If you’re just getting in to all this I would say that “The Secret” is a great place to start! It really helps understand the basic concepts of the law of attraction. From there you can go in so many directions but they’re all related for the most part. Definitely read the book or rent the DVD. Or do both if you feel up to it!
2. The Opus
The Opus in a way is a followup of “The Secret”. It features a lot of the same people who spoke in “The Secret” and builds off of what you already learned about the law of attraction. What the Opus is about though, is creating a legacy for yourself. Explaining how every person was born with the potential to follow their dreams and create that legacy but only a few ever do it.
The Opus is about creating your own personal legacy. What will you do during your short time on earth? What will you be remembered for? Will this planet be a better place because you were here? How can you accomplish the things you dream about most and create that grand legacy?
An excerpt from the website for the Opus: The Opus Movie. Though I edited it slightly to fix some grammar.
If you’re interested in the law of attraction and want to look a little deeper into it, check this movie out. It really helps you feel more motivated to chase after whatever it is you’re passionate about!
Also a side note, shout out to Garnett Moore, who acted in The Opus!
3. Finding Joe
Moving from The Opus, “Finding Joe” sort of brings that idea further in saying each of us is the hero of our own life and when we discover the life that is waiting for us, we can do amazing things with it. As The Opus put it, our “personal legacy”, Finding Joe says that we are on a journey to overcome our obstacles or our “dragon” and find ourselves. Our dream life that is waiting for us. The life that involves doing what we are passionate about.
Imagine if everyone was to the point of following their passions, having an understanding of the law of attraction and building prosperous lives for themselves. We would have so many people doing what they love, you could get a few people who are passionate about different subjects but that relate to one goal and have them work together on a project using their own passions and skills in collaboration with others’ passions and skills to efficiently and effectively complete a projects. So many people would be so much happier. I believe the ideas presented in Finding Joe are a huge step toward this.

4. I AM
In the movie, “I AM”, two main questions are asked of many influential people around the globe. “What’s wrong with our world?” and “What can we do to make it better?”
This documentary was put together by the famous director of comedies, Tom Shadyac; director of films such as “Ace Ventura”, “Bruce Almighty” and “Liar Liar”. Tom Shadyac travels around the world having discussions with authors, scientists, entrepreneurs and many others after a tragic bicycle accident that left him with Post Concussion Syndrome. While affected by his injury he had some profound realizations about his life and decided to change it all, moving from a 17,000 square foot mansion to a mobile home community where he could be a part of the community and live more happily. Mr. Shadyac discovered that wealth and materialism does not equal happiness, and that there really is a lot more good in the world than most of us realize. We just have to acknowledge it and embrace it.

5. The Moses Code
This one I have already written a blog post on which can be found here: The Moses Code is a powerful movie!
Speaking of “I AM”, here’s a movie called, “The Moses Code”. The Moses Code is also a movie more about the law of attraction but goes more by the phrase, “I am that, I am.” which is the English translation of a quote by Yahweh in Exodus of the Old Testament in the Bible. It is commonly believed to be translated as “I am that I am” but closer examination shows that there should be a comma between “am” and “that”. This comma is what the movie describes as “the Moses code”.
For more information about this movie check out the link I posted above to my other blog post on The Moses Code.
6. The Shift
The Shift is more an actual movie. Presenting real life examples of what it teaches by the stories of three different people over a weekend at a resort on the Monterey Peninsula. In The Shift, Dr. Wayne Dyer is being filmed talking about “the shift” into the afternoon of life, moving away from the ego based mindset, and tying into the law of attraction as well.
This is a very touching film. I leave most of the teaching and story a surprise for you to find out. I definitely recommend this movie almost more than any of the others listed here. Check out the trailer here and the homepage of the website here.
Last but definitely not least is the movie “Happy” or “The Happy movie”. This movie is, as its name suggests, all about happiness. Close to the beginning of the movie a man talks about how all sorts of studies have been done on depression and sadness. But no one was studying happiness. Why?
He wanted to learn more about happiness and why people feel it. Today there are a lot more scientists looking into happiness along with all the new discoveries being made in quantum physics and everything leading back to the law of attraction again. Honestly I haven’t seen this movie for a while and don’t remember a lot of the details, but I do remember that it was a powerful film. I plan to watch it again soon and I would recommend it to all you readers here as well, it will fill you with happiness!

And there you have 7 great movies about the law of attraction!
I have been very busy. It took me about a week of working on this post as I’ve had time to finally finish it, and I’ll admit I got a bit lazy in the last few movies, lol. But I hope this post is helpful and enjoyable to you all!
The movies are not necessarily listed in a “greatest to least” order or anything like that, although I did try to somewhat put them in order of relation to one another. So that one movie more or less leads to the next. If you plan to watch all these movies (which I would) I recommend watching them in this order, or at least close to this order. Enjoy! c:
I hope you enjoyed this post on movies that have to do with the law of attraction! Please comment and share on your favorite social networks! c:
